Usher and Naomi Campbell showed their love for each other by keeping rivals at bay at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
First, Naomi gave the evil eye to female fans wanting to get closer to the singer, reports the Daily Mirror.
Then Usher squared up to Radio One DJ Trevor Nelson for chatting to Naomi while he was dancing.
The paper quotes a source as saying: "There's no doubt Usher is a babe magnet. He seemed oblivious to all the attention he was getting but Naomi certainly noticed it.
"People were waiting for it to all kick off but her strategy was far cleverer. Instead of blowing up she gave them all subtle killer looks and one by one they melted away."
Shortly afterwards Trevor Nelson spotted the supermodel looking bored while Usher, 26, was dancing with pals.
Trev's Radio 1 colleague Edith Bowman reveals: "Usher was grinding away on the dancefloor and his girlfriend, Naomi, was sat in the corner looking really miserable, like she'd been slapped by a wet fish.
"So Trevor went over to her and said: "How are you doing? Are you alright?" Next thing, Usher had spun around and was looking daggers at him.
"He then came marching over and shouted: "What are you doing to my girl? Move away from my girl!" Trevor was like: "What are you talking about? Calm down!" while Naomi just sat there."
