(Part 1: Æsahættr - The One Who Will Kill god)

Can you not see outside of the tautology of your faith?
Centuries of tradition gone unquestioned
But why are they given such high regard?
What fallacies will flow from the mouths of the faithful next?

Though we may never know the truth,
We cannot hide the facts.
Knowledge is a terrible thing to waste,
Especially at the expense of pointless superstitions.

Faith is a drug, and priests are the suppliers
You make the church richer with every dollar in the basket
The Vatican is gilded in both gold and blood,
The blood of the poor peasants of centuries past.
Break the addiction!

Though we may never know the truth,
We cannot hide the facts.
Knowledge is a terrible thing to waste,
Especially at the expense of pointless superstitions.

[spoken]

The faithful call the nonbelievers arrogant
And yet their kettle is black,
They believe that a god that created a near-infinite universe cares about them, while blatantly ignoring the starving and war-torn countries that suffer out of a blind devotion for him...

Is it more arrogant to assume to know every answer to the human race's problems and declare all those problems to a lack of faith in your god that you have no real evidence that he or she exists, or, to seek the answers through scientific analysis and critical thinking, even if they may never be known to man?

(Part 2: 神を殺すためにどのように {Kami o korosu tame ni dono yō ni} - How to Kill god)

Why can't you see...
The logical fallacies
So loud, so ignorant.
And they have the world locked in a death-grip.

For far too long, you have slowed the progress of humanity,
Constantly competing with science, logic and reason,
Faith is the cancer of the world

Argue against my argument, not against me.

But of course in the words of a wise old man "I always think it's a sign of victory when they move on to the ad hominem." [Christopher Hitchens]

Take these words as you wish
Call them arrogant if you want
But take these following words into your heart:

Question everything you think you know, it just might wrong. Dead wrong.
