The Architect

Imprisoned under the reign of the tyrant;
A mind envied, a weapon itself.
Blood of the nephew washed from the hands
But not from the soul. The covet prevailed.

The father and the
Son possess
Equal visions now.
From the texture of
The city
To what once was life.

Wings of those who seek the sky
Were weaved from silk of nature's kind.
The destination of the Fa
Was which his son remembered not.
'That which rises shall be to us
The backbone of our nature's founder,
Lest the Sol scorch death unto us
Or neglect these words do you'.

Unnatural disdain
for their species' limitations
The Architect takes flight.

O ìlios skotûnei!
O ìlios skotûnei!
O ìlios skotûnei!
O ìlios skotûnei!

Soaring through deadly sky;
Embraced by hope, two hearts ablaze.
Minos undone, curse the traitors,
And so was heard by Theon of he.
Sol intense, the wings of grace
Became iron, steel and bronze.
A life so young and unintended;
Falls Icarus, tides take claim.

Unnatural disdain
For their specie's limitations
The Architect takes flight.

O ìlios skotûnei!
O ìlios skotûnei!
O ìlios skotûnei!
O ìlios skotûnei!

Rage, fury, wrath, agony,
Spawn of the beautiful mind.
Never to heed nor desert
The Architect's pain to return.
