2009-05-21 | Liam Gallagher lashes out at The Enemy | Oasis singer unleashes another Twitter rant
Liam Gallagher has taken a swipe at The Enemy, calling lead singer Tom Clarke a "little f***er".
In his tirade, the Oasis frontman referred to an interview in which Tom had labelled the Manchester five-piece "past it", despite being scheduled to support them on a UK arena tour later this year.
Liam hit back: "Having read an interview with Tom Clarke from The Enemy apparently Oasis are past it?
"Do you want to go on 1st or what you little f***er? LG."
Liam may have been referring to an interview published in The Sun on Monday, when Tom claimed: "I don’t think Noel [Gallagher] needs to do it any more. He’s doing it for the love of it. That’s the dream. That’s when you can say you’ve made it.

2008-04-14 | Weller talks Oasis team up | Paul Weller has spoken about his collaboration with Oasis members Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer.
The Manchester duo joined Paul for a track on his upcoming album 22 Dreams and Weller told BBC 6Music how it came about.
He said: "Me and Noel have been threatening to write together for years, try and work together, but we always got b********* and never did it.
"We were probably just a bit too self-conscience to do it in lots of ways as well. You can't just sit in a room together, well you can, but I really couldn't sit in a room with someone and write. It would be very difficult."
Instead Noel and Gem came to Paul with the backing track, drums, bass and keyboard tune allowing him to come up with the lyrics.
Paul explains: "They had an idea, musically, what it should be and then I just did the song on top of it."

2004-05-05 | Oasis star 'tested positive for drugs' | Prosecutors investigating a brawl in Munich involving Oasis star Liam Gallagher said that tests showed he and another band member tested positive for drugs.
"The test revealed substantial quantities of alcohol and drugs," prosecutor Anton Winkler said. "It is possible he used cocaine."
Gallagher, four other members of Oasis and the band's entourage were detained for questioning following a fight at a Munich hotel on December 1, 2002 that left Gallagher with several broken teeth.
Witnesses told police at the time that the clash began in the disco of the hotel where the band was staying, and that drunken jostling between band members started a fight with other patrons.
The band called the fight "an unprovoked attack" on them on their Web site.
They are being investigated on suspicion of assault, resisting arrest and damage to property.
Winkler did not expect the case to go to trial.
The band members would likely pay a fine, he said. Source: Ananova |
