Will.i.am has written a new song to celebrate the announcement of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States.
Having finished editing the final cut of 'It's A New Day' as Obama made his acceptance speech in Chicago, the tune is set to make its internet debut today (5 November).
Black Eyed Peas frontman Will has already enjoyed viral success with 'Yes We Can', a track in support of the senator's bid for a place in the White House.
Other prominent African-American musicians who have pledged their support for Obama include Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Diddy and John Legend, who described the candidate as a "legend" in an interview with Orange.co.uk/music last month.
Making an appearance in Philadelphia on Monday (3 November), Jay-Z made a last-ditch attempt to encourage the crowd to vote for the Democrat.
He said: "I need y'all to be really, really quiet for this. I need you to really understand what I'm telling you.
