Athlete and Interpol are the latest acts announced to support U2 on the European leg of their Vertigo Tour.
Athlete will support U2 at two shows - the City of Manchester Stadium on June 15 and London's Twickenham Stadium on June 18.
Interpol will join the support list for the band's concert at Hampden Park, Glasgow, on June 21.
Seven acts will be supporting U2 at different concerts on the European summer tour.
Already confirmed are Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, Razorlight and Paddy Casey.
Kings of Leon are supporting the band on the North American leg of the tour which kicks off on March 28 in San Diego, California. Source: Ananova
