Cwn Anwwn

The Autumn fires burn in my dreams when the veil is low,
When the shadows grow and devour the light at the death of day.
‘Neath stone-crowned hills on wayward lays.
And I hear the howl as it calls unto me:
Down from the ages, across the seas, a cry of hunger, for Victory.

Red ancient wisdoms set me free….

Cwn Annwn!

And the blood runs fast, swallowed by the earth.
My legacy: A new rebirth, and a strength of heart
And a call to run, when the Samhain songs draw down the sun.

Beneath the hollow earth my ancient kith and kin
My legend carved into the stone: the hundred Caers I dwelt within.
Between the knees of kings, beneath the blackened soil
I hear the timeless call from memory: the strong, the loyal.
Release now the baying Hounds! against the common foe.
Their clamour heard and feared, by mortal men who dwell below.

From maws of grey the timeless call, to summon from the grassy halls
The valour of an age long gone, of glorious days and battles won.

Never seen again on earth 'twixt hill and wood and the Standing-stone

Hopes and fears begin in the Autumn - Summer ends with the fires.
The call to hunt at the bequest of Annwn - One hundred deeds fuel a triumphant pyre.
Yet remain unseen to mortal sight, forgotten paths through vales unknown.
A bare- remembered shape is seen amidst the swirl of fearful cries.
The endless chase in voids between the dreams of mortal men when Summer dies.
