A Ravens Greed

A ravenous winged daemon, a thief of habit,
met it's cruel fate as his knife had savaged.
Eyes pierce the soul. It's death for what it had stole.
A hero devours and it's darkness did cease
For the rewards on its head would heal his wife's disease

Deranged thoughts later fueled his head as he stumble with a purpose
but his knowledge of where was unclear
The poisoned maid's house approached him,
the door began to open and welcomed him in

An unrelenting attraction, sick love of despair
He crawled into her arms, a mask of nightmares
An apothecary's comfort is nothing but unnerving

"just tilt your head back and engulf my soothing venoms" - poisoned maid

My heart no longer human, my skin shrouded with feathers
She whispers to with the greatest of pleasures
"now my pretty, you will do as you told" - Poisoned maid
Whilst my heart hung on, every word she had unfold
Deep down I knew this story would turn cold
The greed that seeped from her could not be controlled
I could see it in those dark slits she called eyes...

With every house came robberies of families wealth
Taking mostly their own health
"I am unstoppable, a beast from hell,
Now you all shall adhere me, or I will take all love you felt" - Raven

The last house of victims rested a little girl and her sickened mother
he gripped her porcelain neck and choked out her life, she smothered
screams echo for her child's mercy

Human eyes start crying, when it was his child's life he had ended
The reflection of this former self upon innocent tears
Had confirmed the worst of his fears

And with one flap of his grotesque wings, he had vanished
tears filled his eyes and his heart with vengeance

lurking and creeping into her dwelling, she sleeps so somber
when he reach deep into his pockets, "shhh", and choke every last breath of her
with the gold she had so treasured
He left her hanged and tethered
with only her gold to accompany her
