Ghost Light

Ghost Light (Hoggett, Gregory)
This presence felt throughout centuries
Permeates the edge of the void
Difficult to pinpoint but certainly there
God is like the force of the wind
Every time we try to deny
We see a sign to lead the way

Evidence of celestial majesty
Intangible yet concrete and sure
Certainty of the presence of God
Evidence in the pull of our hearts
Common sense denies yet somehow confirms
A truth we know, all that is sure

Some kinda ghost light
Shining across the land
Some kinda ghost light
Brighter than the light of the sun
Some kinda ghost light
Shining across the land
Some kinda ghost light
Brighter than the light of the sun

We see him everywhere his light is all around
Impossible to prove the presence of God
Yet unmistakenly it is there for all to see
Written in the stars, written in our heart

Some kinda ghost light
Shining across the land
Some kinda ghost light
Brighter than the light of the sun
Some kinda ghost light
Shining across the land
Some kinda ghost light
Brighter than the light of the sun

We see God in the night time sky
The impossible distance clearly there
The mindblowing smallness of the atom
Made up still of quantum parts
He is the alpha and omega, beginning and end
He is the force that binds us all
