Apache Dancers

They released just one album, but Apache Dancers made some affecting countryish music for college rockers on 1990's War Stories. Based in Los Angeles, the band formed around chanteuse Bernadette Colomine and guitarist Tom Durbin, whose cracked high-lonesome vocals provided a vivid counterpoint to Colomine's. After the release of War Stories, Apache Dancers was rarely heard from again.
