Lena (CUB)

Lena is a Cuban singer songwriter. She is the daughter of producer Rey Nerio and performer Malena Burke. Her grandmother is the legendary Cuban singer Elena Burke whom was part of the Buena Vista Social Club. Since a very early age she loved music, learning to sing at age 3, taking guitar classes at age 5. Has played the piano since she was 7 and is an exceptional concert pianist. She moved to Miami to develop her career as a singer. She participated in the chorus of many important productions of celebrities such as Gloria Estefan, Cristian Castro and Chayanne. It was during the recording of the chorus of Alejandro Sanz' album "No es lo mismo" when Lena had the opportunity of recording for Warner Music. Her debut album was launched worldwide in 2005, and had great success thanks to "Tu Corazon" which was recorded as a duo with Alejandro Sanz. "Lena" is an album with pop songs, tropical and andalucian rhythms, composed by herself and recorded in Milan.
