Chris Thompson has been playing trumpet professionally since 1979 having performed on four continents with various Latin, Jazz, R&B and Pop groups. While earning a BFA in Music at The City College of New York, Chris studied trumpet privately with Vincent Penzarella (New York Philharmonic). Following a National Tour with the hit Broadway show "Chicago" Chris began performing extensively with many of the greats in Salsa music including Tony Vega, Tito Allen, Lalo Rodriguez, Adalberto Santiago, Tito Gomez and Cita Rodriguez among many others...
