The legendary rockers Rolling Stones last played a UK festival in 1976 when they performed at the Knebworth Fair alongside Lynyrd Skynyrd and 10 CC.
The band's appearance was officially confirmed today (March 20), according to NME.
Mick Jagger's men will close the festival on the Sunday (June 10) and join fellow headliners Snow Patrol and Muse, and other acts including Ash, Feeling, Kasabian, Amy Winehouse, Keane, Fratellis, James Morrison and Paolo Nutini.

Foo Fighters and Kaisers to play T on the Fringe
The Foo Fighters and the Kaiser Chiefs have been confirmed to play at this year's T On The Fringe festival.
The Foo Fighters play Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh on August 21 before the Kaiser Chiefs play the same venue on August 24.

Athlete and Interpol join U2 tour
Athlete and Interpol are the latest acts announced to support U2 on the European leg of their Vertigo Tour.
Athlete will support U2 at two shows - the City of Manchester Stadium on June 15 and London's Twickenham Stadium on June 18.
Interpol will join the support list for the band's concert at Hampden Park, Glasgow, on June 21.
Seven acts will be supporting U2 at different concerts on the European summer tour.
Already confirmed are Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, Razorlight and Paddy Casey.

Snow Patrol on short tour
Snow Patrol are to go on a short tour at the end of this year.
The group, whose album Final Straw is one of the nominations for this year's Mercury Music Prize, will play eight dates in December.
They dates are:
