2007-10-09 | Sonic Syndicate - first us tour! | Sweden’s hottest newcomers, Sonic Syndicate, will be making their US debut with a tour alongside Himsa, Decapitated and fellow countrymen Amon Amarth this November. Since the release of the band’s second opus, "Only Inhuman", the band has been taking Europe by storm with many festival appearances and a tour with Dark Tranquillity. Soon after the band finishes their current European tour with Soilwork and Caliban it’s off to the States to wreak even more metal havoc. Lead singer Richard Sjunnesson had this to say about the bands hectic schedule: "We are excited and really looking forward to finally getting over there to see the American fans. This is Sonic Syndicate’s very first tour on American soil and we are very happy to be doing this under the wings of the vile Vikings, Amon Amarth, who are of course countrymen of ours. I have personally followed them since the early 90s and touring with them makes me happier than words can express. It will of course also be a honor to share the stage with the brilliant metal acts Himsa and Decapitated. See you all soon!" Source: NuclearBlast |

Band will continue promoting their new album "Fiction" with a couple of upcoming tours: "We raided the rehearsal room for leftover merchandise, so on the 'Scandinavian Fiction' tour we'll be offering some rare and out-of-print shirts as well as other goodies for those who are interested."
Afterwards the band will be joining the Eastpak Antidote Tour with Soilwork, Caliban, and Sonic Syndicate. And, last but not least: "Finally it is time for us to visit Greece again! Supported by the legendary Samael, we'll have the pleasure of playing two shows. 2006-11-14 | Heaven Shall Burn - "Counterweight" - video and Spirit Tour | For “Counterweight”, Heaven Shall Burn’s first clip from their current album “Deaf To Our Prayers”, Roax Films from Berlin filmed HSB’s awesome show on Summerbreeze 2006. The result is a live-clip that captures the unique live-qualities of the five-piece from Saalfeld.
“Right when we saw the first seconds from the footage we knew we needed a video-clip done with the material”, recalls guitarist Maik Weichert. “It was a really cool night with crazy fans and we are extremely happy we could capture this special feeling. You can feel the energy and fun in every frame of the clip. Everybody who was at the show will crank up the volume with a big smile on his face. We are even sure this will go for everybody who couldn’t make it to Summerbreeze.”
In December group will co-headline the Spirit-tour together with their friends from Caliban. “Finally we’ll do a double headlining tour with our good friends from Caliban! Many years ago we played in a tiny club in front of less than 100 people most of which were older than we were. Since that day every HSB/Caliban show has been a unique experience in front of, on and behind the stage. We will continue this tradition on the upcoming Spirit tour and ask everybody to come out and dance away some extra pounds gathered during winter!”
