Tricky will be offering fans an insight into the workings of a unique musical mind when he releases a compilation of favourites in the "Back To Mine" series.
The Bristolian trip-hop innovator has frequently confounded expectations by sighting the likes of Kate Bush as influences on his redefinition of hip-hop with the mid-nineties classic, "Maxinquaye".
He describes his "Back To Mine" compilation as, "a mixture of stuff I grew up on, and what I'm listening to now.
"I used to make loads of compilation tapes and I haven't had the time for years, so this has been a real pleasure."
The "Back To Mine" compilation series has previously mined the record collections of stars including Danny Tenaglia, Groove Armada, Faithless, MJ Cole, Orbital, Underworld and, most recently, New Order.
