Fell first came to the world as a series of four-track tapes recorded by Josh Wambeke, half of the Denver space rock outfit Phineas Gage. The experimental demos, heavy on electronics and drum machines, marked the beginning of Wambeke's drift away from the psychedelic pop of Phineas Gage.
