INXS star Kirk Pengilly is to marry his longtime girlfriend in October.
The singer/guitarist, one of the founding members of the Australian rock band, has revealed he proposed to his partner, professional surfer Layne Beachley, 18 months ago and they are now preparing to exchange vows.
The star says, "We have set a date and it will be in October."
Pengilly has a 22-year-old daughter, April, from his long term relationship with Karen Hutchinson. He was briefly married to singer Deni Hines, but they split in 1995, and he was also engaged to DJ Louise Hegarty.

Rock Star, on American TV, will follow the band around five continents as they hold auditions to find a replacement for the singer, who died in 1997.
Whoever wins will record an album and tour with the band, says the Mirror.
Guitarist Tim Farriss said: "We wanted to search the world for a new singer but we didn't know how we could effectively do that.
"But we've now found a fantastic way to make that happen."
