Watch Joey Bada$$ Rap Kanye West's McDonald's Poem From Frank Ocean Zine
Kanye Westt's poem about McDonalds that he wrote for Frank Ocean's "Boys Don't Cry" zine is a pretty fun piece of literature on its own, but it really comes alive when read aloud.
Just ask Joey Bada$$, who lent his vocal prowess to Hot 97 to bring West's poem to life, rapping it a cappella for host Megan Ryte.
"McDonald's man / McDonald's man / The French fries had a plan / The French fries had a plan / The salad bar and the ketchup made a band / Cus the French Fries had a plan / The French fries had a plan / McDonald's man / McDonald's," the poem stars, before revealing - that the only Golden Arches menu item not jealous of the fries is "That smooth apple pie."
After the reading, Bada$$ praised the piece as "classic" and "Shakespearean."

Watch Joey Bada$$' Triumphant "Devastated" Video
On Wednesday (Aug. 10), Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$ unveiled the celebratory video for his latest track “Devastated,” which was released as a single three months ago.
Bada$$ took an unconventional route when deciding to premiere the video. The young rhymer spent Tuesday traveling around to different locations in his hometown of New York City in a double-decker bus, stopping at spots like the Barclays Center and Prospect Park in Brooklyn and Madison Square Park and Union Square in Manhattan, among others, to screen the video and offer fans exclusive merchandise.
In the video, directed by Bada$$ and Shomi Patwary, the rapper throws one hell of a pep rally before he takes to the streets and parties on a rooftop, keeping the celebration going. Outside of making his directorial debut with this video, Bada$$ is also gearing up to hit the road for two months with ScHoolboy Q on the Blank Face World Tour starting in September.
