2008-11-13Korpiklaani: Kicking off Finnish Fire tour today
The Finnish Fire European tour — featuring headliners Korpiklaani alongside Battlelore, Kivimetsan Druidi and Falchion — is scheduled to kick off tonight (Thursday, November 13) in Giessen, Germany. According to Korpiklaani, During this tour we will play many songs that we never ever played live before, and… we have three setlists that will be rotated. So every fourth day we will play the songs from the first day again.If you want to hear all our songs you have to come on three succeeding days. That is, if we do not confuse the setlists. Then, a very cool thing will happen, during the gigs in Belgium and Holland [November 29-30] a film crew will record everything these days… yes, not just us on stage, but also off stage, and they plan also to interview fans! 2007-02-02Battlelore complete new album
The 4th Battlelore album Evernight is now complete! The band chose once again to work with Miitri Aaltonen (Music Bros Studios), supported by a state-of-the-art studio and Miitri’s irrefutable experience. The results cannot only be heard in the even more bombastic, more epic, and heavier soundscapes that adorn this latest offering, but also in the lyrics, which have become deeper and more personal than ever before. Evernight continues to remain loyal to the heritage of J.R.R.Tolkien, but the band’s sound has evolved to deliver more atmosphere and an obscurer end result. Expect Evernight on 23 Feb 2007 as a regular jewel case and a limited edition deluxe digipack incl. 2 bonus tracks and different cover artwork.
