Reality television-star-turned singer Kelly Osbourne will tackle scripted TV on ABC this fall. The daughter of heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne is among the cast of "Life As We Know It," a one-hour drama that will air Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The younger Osbourne was cast in the series pilot, which was originally titled "Doing It." The series is based on British author Melvin Burgess' novel of the same name.
The network describes "Life As We Know It" as a "series about three hormone-charged teenage boys who are trying to do something even harder than losing their virginity, and that's to grow up without totally freaking out." Sean Farris stars as high school jock Dino, Jon Foster as straight-A student Ben and Chris Lowell as the artistic Jonathan.
