| 2007-10-24 | Despised Icon confirmed for co-headlining tour with Misery Index | Canadian destructors Despised Icon will lay to waste European venues in early 2008 with the mighty Misery Index as well as Beneath The Massacre, Man Must Die (mainland Europe only), and Annotations Of An Autopsy (UK only).
Further presenting their latest effort “The Ills Of Modern Man”, which has been released via Century Media Records earlier this year, Despised Icon are glad to be part of a devastatingly brutal live package that should be a delicacy for fans of technically flawless death metal/death core with moshpit-guarantee! Be there & get crushed!
Vocalist Alex comments as follows:
“After months of planning, this tour is finally coming together! We can’t wait to tour Europe and the UK again and share the tour bus and stage everyday with Misery Index and our homies from Montreal, Beneath The Massacre! I think we haven’t played with any of those dudes in at least a year, should be sick. Make sure you come early to check out Annotations Of An Autopsy and Man Must Die; two killer bands. Thanks to our buddy Marco (Avocado Booking) for working hard on this.
We have about 70 shows lined-up in Canada, USA, UK and Europe in the next 4 months and will be taking a short break after that to write part of the next album so make sure you show up to the nearest show!
