| 2007-12-06 | Unearth to play Mexico, Chile, and Brazil!!! | Massachusetts very own metal powerhouse, Unearth, are set to play 3 shows in Mexico starting on January 18th 2008! The band will then head down to South America for shows on February 22nd in Chile and February 24th in Brazil. This will be the band’s first time ever playing in Mexico and South America and they are eager to get in front of their fans. Here’s what main man Trevor Phipps had to say about the upcoming shows:
“January 2008 will mark our first ever and long awaited trip to our neighbor country of Mexico. Playing for our Mexican fans is something we have wanted to do for a long, long time. We are looking forward to tearing it up south of the border and bringing our brand of metal and all our stage energy to the fans.
We will also be hitting up South America this winter for the first time ever. Just like with Mexico, this is a place we have wanted to go and play for a long time. So needless to say we are all looking forward to it!
For all those in Mexico, Chile, and Brazil; see you all soon....finally!”

In other news Unearth will be releasing their first ever full-length DVD, which will include live performance footage from The Glasshouse in Pomona shot on 10/9/07. This show was part of Unearth’s headlining US tour which included Darkest Hour, August Burns Red and Suicide Silence. The show will be part of a two-disc DVD set that will include other live performances throughout the band’s nine year career as well as interviews, behind the scenes footage and other random happenings throughout the years.
Expect this double-disc DVD to come out on March 4th 2008.

| 2007-05-24 | Unearth part ways with Mike Justain! | Unearth have officially parted ways with drummer Mike Justian: "Last night marked the end of the line for Mike Justian with Unearth. There are many reasons why we decided it was time to move on without him, but we are not in the business of airing dirty laundry. We will say that we grew apart as individuals and as musicians and the split will be best for both the band and Mike.
In true Unearth fashion, we will continue on without skipping a beat. We are pleased and honored to say that Gene Hoglan of Strapping Young Lad is filling in for the rest of our tour with Dimmu Borgir, DevilDriver and Kataklysm. He will take the stage for the first time with us tonight in Vancouver, BC. Gene is an unreal musician and has learned a set in extremely short notice. We can not thank him enough for lending his skills to our band for this tour.
Mike is an amazing drummer and will surely turn up in another band soon. We traveled the world with him, shared some of the best experiences of our lives and can call him a brother forever. It was just time for both parties to split, plain and simple. We wish him the best of luck with all of his future endeavors."

| 2007-05-15 | DevilDriver Lost | Blabbermouth reports metallic master weavers DevilDriver are to film a video for their track ‘Not All Who Wander Are Lost’, from their third Roadrunner release ‘The Last Kind Words’.
The guys are currently on tour with Dimmu Borgir, Unearth and Kataklysm until the end of May, they then will embark on a European tour starting on 1st June for just one month. Whilst in the U.K. they will be attending the Metal Hammer Awards on 11th June.

| 2007-03-27 | As I Lay Dying announces 1st US Tour Dates For 2007! | As I Lay Dying have been laying low for the past few months, joining forces with Killswitch Engage guitarist, Adam Dutkiewicz to brew up a new album that will be ready by Fall 2007.
Dutkiewicz will be the Producer (Underoath, All That Remains, Unearth, Everytime I Die) on band's upcoming album.
This highly anticipated third album will be the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed, breakthrough album, Shadows Are Security (2005).
For the time being, As I Lay Dying have just announced they will be taking a short break from the recording studio and hitting the road for the first time in 2007, including a slot on BAMBOOZLE 2007 on Sunday 6th May!

| 2007-03-13 | Dying Fetus: Film New Video; Unveil Media Player | Dying Fetus recently shot the first music video, for the track “Homicidal Retribution”, from their upcoming new album War of Attrition. The video was lensed by director Frankie Nasso (Mudvayne, Hatebreed, All That Remains) and producer Kim Resteghini for Raging Nation Films (Trivium, Shadows Fall, Dillinger Escape Plan, Unearth) at Philadelphia’s historic Eastern State Penitentiary. The “Homicidal Retribution” video is expected to see its world-premier sometime in March.

Also band recently announced two headlining tours in support of War of Attrition. The first tour will be the band’s first return to Europe in two years and includes support from Skinless, Cattle Decapitation and War From A Harlots Moth for the “War of Attrition European Tour 2007”.
