2008-07-03 | 50 Cent won't war with Young Buck | 50 Cent has spoken out about his relationship with former G-Unit member Young Buck.
Fiddy removed Young Buck from the group after it emerged that he owes the In Da Club rapper a large amount of money for an unpaid tax bill.
50 told MTV: "Buck is a disappointment for me, I treated him like a younger brother. He's not an enemy now.
He explained: "He's like a relative that decides to do something to you that you're uncomfortable with, so you don't bring him around you."
Buck is still signed to G-Unit Records for three more albums, but 50 has said that he won’t let the incident affect business.
50 said: "He'll still get his fair shot at releasing his album. He just did a show and only 20 people showed up. If that's not an indication that what you're doing is a mistake, I don't know what is." Source: Ananova |

2007-10-23 | Eminem teams up with G-Unit | Eminem is set to perform on G-Unit's new album.
50 Cent has nearly finished the new record and is just waiting on Eminem to lay down his vocals on the last track.
When asked how close the album is to finishing Fiddy told MTV: "We gotta work with Em, that's it.
"We probably won't get his vocals until he's heard the full body of work and he's excited about it."
Once Eminem has given the record the green light Fiddy will share the album with the rest of us.
He explains: "Before my work (goes to the public), it had to pass the Eminem test." Source: Ananova |
2007-08-01 | 50 Cent to judge YouTube rap competition | 50 Cent will judge a rapping competition for video sharing website YouTube.
The competition, entitled YouTube OnTheRise Rap Edition wants aspiring rappers to upload music videos showing off their skills with a chance to win $10,000 (£5,000) of recording equipment and get their track produced by 50's G-Unit crew.
In a clip on the video-sharing site 50 says: "If you have skills, determination, pizzazz, and you're really ready, you can win all you need, right here right now."
Fiddy will be joined by fellow MCs Common and Polow Da Don as they select 20 the finalists that site users will vote on to decide who wins the grand prize.
The Outta Control rapper isn't the first to talent spot on the site. Earlier this year Justin Timberlake signed up Esmee Denters to his label after she became one of the most subscribed video makers on the site.
The competition starts August 8 but is only open to US residents. Source: Ananova |
