| 2010-06-22 | Top Touring Artists Join KoRn In Boycott Of BP | 
KoRn's boycott of BP (British Petroleum) has started a ground swell of like-minded musicians intent on making a statement against the devastation in The Gulf caused by BP's record-setting oil spill. The following top touring artists have joined the cause and have committed to avoid the use of fuel sold by BP or its affiliates on their upcoming tours for 2010:

"This is the worst thing that has ever happened to the environment in U.S. history. From everything we're hearing about now, it's become clear that BP cut corners to put profit ahead of safety. The message we are sending should tell all the oil companies to spend the money and take the necessary precautions to make sure this doesn't happen again," said Jonathаn Davis of KORN. "I'm really proud that this many artists have already come on board, and I hope more will join soon."
First estimates show close to 100 vehicles, trucks and buses from the committed artists will be involved in the boycott this summer. The number is continuously growing, resulting in tours all across North America refusing to fill up with BP products. More touring artists and people throughout the continent are uniting in boycotts against BP as a result of the catastrophic oil spill.
Some summer festival tours like the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival are already known for using biofuels. However, the entire festival, comprised of twelve bands, will promise to not purchase their biofuels from BP or any of their affiliates. Tour creator Kevin Lyman agrees, stating "We have so many friends that are now affected by this spill that unless BP spends whatever is needed their livelihoods are lost forever. To that end we are encouraging everyone we deal with to find alternative ways to get down the road this summer."

| 2009-08-11 | KoRn In Recording Mode | According to a posting on producer Ross Robinson's Twitter profile, KoRn has finished laying down drums for two new songs with Robinson at the helm.
KoRn singer Jonathan Davis recently told The Pulse of Radio that the group intends to get back to the sound of its early CDs on the forthcoming album. "It's gonna be very raw, it's gonna be old school like the first KORN records," he said. "Basically, it's gonna be recorded as a four-piece band, with just Munky on guitars and Fieldy [bass] and Ray [Luzier; drums] and me. We really want to go back to that old-school vibe. It was just really intense and emotional and, you know, I have a lot of built-up aggression toward certain things that I need to get out for this record."

| 2007-03-20 | 21.03.07 - СЛОТ, АННА, Бес головы - "Один" (Одесса) |  21 марта в клубе "Один" (ул. Польская, 12) состоится выступление российской популярной nu-metal группы Слот при поддержке украинских коллег.
В концерте принимают участие:

Группа Слот образовалась в 2002-м году. В 2003-м году группа выпускает свой дебютный альбом, который выходит на лейбле Мистерия Звука и за 4 года продаж расходится официальным тиражом более 10 000 экз. Дебютный клип на песню «ОДНИ» находился в ротации на канале MTV в течении полугода. Песня «Люди во сне» стала победителем программы «Худсовет» на Нашем Радио и песня «ХАОС» была отмечена слушателями программы «Подземка». Осенью 2005-го года группа стала номинантом российской премии RAMP в категории «Вокал Года». И, со слов фронтмена легенды американского nu-metal коллектива KoRn Jonathan Davis, стала открытием этого события. Вместе с Korn группа выступила в Питере в Ледовом Дворце и в Москве в Лужниках на МСА.
За время существования группа успела зарекомендовать себя с лучшей стороны, став яркой звездой саундтрека к фильму «БУМЕР», проучаствовав там двумя композициями. Благодаря яркой музыкальной харизме, Слот стал участником «пиратского» саундтрека к фильму «Дневной Дозор». Также группа засветилась в саундтреке к нашумевшему блокбастеру «Охота на Пиранью» и в многочисленных сборниках: Нашествие, Skang Fest, Рок Дозор и др.
Зимой 2003 года после нескольких несостоявшихся концертов группа решает расстаться с Теоной Дольниковой. Несовместимость рабочих графиков группы и артистки, а также некоторые внутриколлективные факторы привели именно к такому решению.
Кастинги на место вокалистки группы практически не приостанавливались. Поиски продолжались даже в период, когда группа работала с Теоной. С середины 2004 года и до зимы 2006 место фронтвумен занимала девушка IF. В конце 2004 года по объективным обстоятельствам в СЛОТ на место гитариста Дэна и барабанщика Проффа появляются магистр нижнего регистра басист Muxeu4 и маэстро грува барабанщик Mr.Dude. Ранее Muxeu4 был замечен в успешной московской Progressive Metal группе “Nordream”. Mr. Dude, помимо Слот успевает реализовывать свою творческую натуру в таких проектах, как FPS, Aliced Jazz, Cuba.
В феврале 2006 года из-за творческих разногласий СЛОТ расстается с IF и буквально через пару недель кастингов место вокалистки Слот занимает Nookie. Несколько репетиций дали понять, что потенциал Nookie как вокалистки очень велик.
Весной 2006-го Слот выпускает свой второй альбом с названием «2Войны». Диск выходит на независимом лейбле «ЕМиНЕМ» и за 3 месяца продажи переходят отметку 8000 экз.
Осень 2006-го года была ознаменована выходом нового видеоклипа группы на титульную песню со второго альбома «2Войны». Интернет-премьера клипа вызвала широкий резонанс как давних поклонников группы, так и новых фэнов!
В 2006 году группа снова номинировалась на премию Ramp сразу в 4х номинациях и стала единственной группой, вышедшей в финал сразу по трем номинациям! Благодаря активной поддержке своих фэнов, Слот стал победителем в номинации «ХИТ ГОДА»!
На сегодняшний момент группа активно концертирует, давая сольные концерты по городам России, выступает вместе со звездами отечественной рок сцены (Animal ДжаZ, Дельфин) и западными командами (Clawfinger, Samael)

| 2004-05-26 | Rock, Rap Acts Set For "Mountain Jam" | Kid Rock, Cypress Hill, Nickelback, Ludacris, Galactic, Our Lady Peace, Lil' Jon and Tha Eastside Boyz and Molotov are the first acts confirmed for the second Coors Light Mountain Jam. The event will be held Aug. 14 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver and will be hosted by comedian Dave Attell. Tickets are $50 and go on sale June 5 via CoorsLight.com.
Among the non-musical diversions will be the Coors Light Oasis Deck, complete with a hot tub, and the Coors Light Kasbah, in which select contest winners will get to mingle with the artists. Early entrants to the venue grounds will receive coupons for free food and drink plus Coors-branded t-shirts and hats.
The first Coors Light Mountain Jam boasted performances by 50 Cent, the Doors of the 21st Century, Korn, P.O.D., the Roots, Evanescence, Gov't Mule and Toots and the Maytals.

| 2003-07-22 | Ill Nino Finalize Track Listing For "Confession" | Ill Nino have finalized the track listing for their sophomore effort, "Confession", due on September 30 through Roadrunner Records.
"Confession" was produced by Bob Marlette and Ill Nino drummer Dave Chavarri and was mixed by Michael Barbiero (Metallica, Guns 'n' Roses, Lostprophets, Snapcase).

Ill Nino, who recently announced the addition of former Machine Head guitarist Ahrue Luster, filmed a video for the track "How Can I Live" in Los Angeles with director Martin Weisz (Korn, PUFF DADDY). The song is the first single from the upcoming "Freddy Vs. Jason" film, due in theaters on August 15. "How Can I Live" will go for radio adds on July 22 while the soundtrack to the film is scheduled for release on August 12 through Roadrunner Records.
